Montreux - just starting our train journey on the "Golden Pass"

Montreux and Lake Geneva

Vineyards are all over Montreux

The Golden Pass train ride started in Montreux and went through the mountains for about 4 hours

You can still see Lake Geneva down below

We're getting higher - here's the first sign of snow

The weather was beautiful during our trip - so much sun here the snow has melted

But the snow didn't melt on this side

Although you can't tell, we're at a pretty high altitude here

We are up inside of the Alps - but you can't tell how high we are in this area

Houses are scattered about - sometimes you'll see several together

The sun was beating down on this side of the tracks and the snow was melted

This is just on the other side of the tracks - sun not beating directly down and the snow remains
