For the past three nights Brooklyn has slept around 8 hours straight! Mama’s so proud of her little punkin! He’s really smiling, laughing, and cooing a lot now. He loves playing on his activity gym, watching Levi, and looking at himself in the mirror. He’s starting to notice his hands and feet and realizing he can grab his toys, although he doesn’t quite have that down yet. He’s been having lots of fun looking at all of the lights on the Christmas Tree, especially during feedings.

November 26th, 2009Mimi’s back!
November 24th, 2009It didn’t take long for Mimi to come back. She couldn’t stay away from Brooklyn for too long. I think she shopped every day she was gone because she brought Brooklyn more than 20 presents with her! I am so glad you were here for my birthday! Thank you for everything! Brooklyn says thank you for reading to him and playing with him on his activity gym. That was such a great gift. We love you!
Happy birthday Mama!
November 21st, 2009Ashley and Shae’s visit
November 16th, 2009My sisters finally got to meet their new nephew! It was their first trip to Phoenix, but we didn’t get out and do much – we all stayed here and played with Brooklyn most of the time. Well, we did take them out to see the big cactus so they could get their picture by it, but Shae chickened out.
Thank you both for all of your help during your visit. Brooklyn already misses his aunts!

October 29th, 2009
I can’t believe my pumpkin is one month old already! I love being a mom – it’s the best feeling. I love all of the grunts and noises he makes even if they’re in the middle of the night.
I’ve always heard that I should nap when he naps, but so far I’ve never taken a nap during the day – there’s always something to do. Happy birthday Brooklyn!
Gigi and Grandy’s visit
October 19th, 2009My mom and dad finally got to meet Brooklyn – they had such a hard time waiting to get out here. He was smaller than they expected – I think I’ve been taking some close-up pictures which makes him look bigger than he is. Of course they think he is a beautiful baby boy!
Brooklyn slept in between his night feedings all but once this past week. Hopefully he’s figured it out and this will continue to be the norm. Now we wait until he skips the late feeding and sleeps through the night…
It was so awesome seeing my parents meet their new grandson. Thank you both for all of your help – I liked taking the late night naps while you held Brooklyn the most!
