Brad and Jill's blog

This was the first full week Brooklyn has slept in his crib – knock on wood… The last time he slept all night in the crib was March 28th. We are off to a good start – hopefully it will last.

Brooklyn, Brad and I were doing a little shopping at the mall today when we decided to take a detour into the pet store. There was a play area in the middle of the store for puppies to get a little exercise. When Brooklyn saw the puppy playing and jumping all around he started laughing and giggling out loud. Everyone in the store was watching Brooklyn. It was so funny – his giggled box was turned over! I guess we need another doggie.

I was glad  I could spend Mother’s Day with you Mother and I was happy you were here for Brooklyn’s dedication. We had so much fun with you here in Phoenix as we usually do. Brooklyn loves to see Mimi because she takes him to the train park.  We can’t wait to see you in July! ILYMTTWWWABA!

Brooklyn swam for the first time today with Mimi and me. He liked the water right away which did not surprise me since he loves bath time. When Mimi put him in the water he started kicking right away. It was so much fun!!!

Coming soon…

I have not been home in over a year and I was getting a little homesick.  Also, I have been sick off and on for almost two months so my mom sent Brooklyn and I a ticket to come home.  This was Brooklyn’s second round trip flight within two weeks.  When we got to Mimi’s house she had Brooklyn his own room fixed up with a crib, toys and stuffed animals. My Mom still the highchair I had when I was a baby and Brooklyn had a ball in it, giggling harder than he ever has before.  We had a wonderful trip and I can’t wait to go back!  Thank you for everything Mimi – Brooklyn loved riding in his new car seat you bought!

Up and away to Orlando…  It’s a possibility we may be moving to Orlando.  Brad had a week of meetings so Brooklyn and I flew down with him to look at the different areas when would want to live.  My mom met us there in Orlando so she could help me with Brooklyn as we looked around.  Brooklyn did great on both flights. He’s racking up on skymiles.

The Easter bunny left Brooklyn an Easter basket filled with toys.  The rest of the day was filled with church, lunch and taking pictures.  Happy 1st Easter Brooklyn!

Mimi can’t stay away for too long and we are glad.  We love when Mimi visits.  I know Brooklyn likes it because she always comes with toys and new clothes.  She also helps me so much with everything.  It is nice when she takes care of Brooklyn at night so Mommy can sleep.  She will rock him all night if that is what he wants.  Mimi is so good to my Sweet Pea!  We love you Mama/Mimi!!!

Brooklyn put his toes in his mouth today.  He was laying in Mimi’s lap in the Banana Republic dressing room while I was trying on clothes. I guess it was time for a new trick.
